The latest trend in New York is threading. It is an ancient method
of hair removal which originated in the Middle East/India. Georgia
uses pure thin twisted Indian cotton, which is rolled over the
area that requires hair removal at follicle level. Unlike tweezing
multiple hairs can be removed at a time rather than one at a time.
With brows it gives a more defined arch. The skin does not peel
and is not traumatised (as with waxing). Threading is an alternative
for those with sensitive skin, those who use Refine/Retin A, Roaccutane
and darker skin complexions that tend to pigment with waxing.
